Manufacturer Warranty (Ajax Systems)
Ajax Systems provides a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty on all security devices and components.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware malfunctions under normal use
- Replacement or repair of defective equipment
The manufacturer warranty period begins from the date the device is purchased from ASPEX Secure.
ASPEX Secure Installation Warranty
We provide an additional 1-year installation workmanship warranty, which covers:
- Faults caused by improper installation
- Wiring or mounting issues
- Calibration or configuration errors
- Free onsite corrections if installation-related issues occur
If any installation-related issue appears within the first year—you're covered.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Issues caused by power surges, lightning strikes, flooding, or other environmental factors
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries)
- Devices damaged by third-party installations or tampering
- Software/app configuration issues beyond official system updates
Battery & Consumable Parts
Ajax devices include long-life batteries designed to last up to 7 years depending on usage.
Because batteries are considered consumable, they are not covered by the warranty.
Extended Protection Plans
For customers who want full ongoing protection, ASPEX Secure offers Extended Protection & Support Plans, including:
- Priority service visits
- Extended hardware warranty
- Annual system checkup
- Unlimited remote technical support

Customer Responsibility
To maintain warranty validity:
- Do not open, modify, or disassemble devices
- Keep proof of purchase and installation records
- Ensure the system is used according to manufacturer instructions
- Use only approved accessories, mounts, or power sources
Limitation of Liability
ASPEX Secure is not responsible for:
- Indirect losses or damages
- Loss of data or digital settings
- Damages caused by failure to maintain the system (e.g., dead batteries)
- Integration issues with unsupported third-party devices
