Where should you not place security cameras?
Avoid placing security cameras where they mainly record the sky, public street traffic, neighboring private spaces, or areas with heavy glare and reflections. Cameras should not be so high that they miss faces or so low that they are easy to tamper with. They should focus on entry points, approach paths, vehicles, gates, garages, patios, and vulnerable first-floor areas. Placement should also respect privacy, HOA rules, and applicable local requirements.
