Is Honeywell Home the Same as Resideo?

Resideo and Honeywell are separate companies. Resideo became a stand-alone company after Honeywell spun off its Homes business in 2018, and Resideo uses the Honeywell Home brand under license. ProSeries and VISTA security products are therefore commonly described as Honeywell Home or Resideo systems, which is why the exact panel model matters more than the name used in a quote.
