No. A point water leak detector normally responds when water reaches its sensing contacts. It does not inspect every concealed pipe or identify the exact location of a hidden plumbing failure. Suspected moisture inside a wall, ceiling, or slab should be evaluated by a qualified plumbing or water-damage professional.
