Not automatically. A standard overview camera may record a vehicle without producing a readable plate, especially at night, at distance, or when headlights and reflective plates affect exposure. Reliable plate detail may require a dedicated view, appropriate lens and settings, controlled vehicle path, suitable lighting, and field testing; a reliable outcome should not be promised until those conditions are verified.
